02.24.12 (Friday) - Pink.







02.24.12 (Friday am) - Garbage day. Isn't there a saying that you can tell a lot about a culture by what it chooses to throw away? Or maybe there just should be a saying like that. We're always late for kindergarten lately, so F has to run to make it. I need to fix that.







02.22.12 (Wednesday afternoon) - T and I walked to pick up C and P from preschool. We found sticks/swords along the way and used them to "get the bad guys." Amazing how many bad guys there are.







02.22.12 (Wednesday am) - Walking F to school. The neighbors' dogs make the walk, especially the puppy.





02.21.12 (Tuesday) - Batman returns.



02.20.12 (Presidents' Day) - F's really into space travel right now, so we spent the morning at the Air & Space museum as a family. Dan and I loved the planetarium show (Cosmic Collisions), T loved "flying" an airplane, and the girls loved their new NASA Barbie dolls that we NEEDED to buy them (one with brown hair, one with blond hair). Over $100 later (including over $20 to park) we came home from the "free" museum.

02.19.12 (Sunday) - Spent day at Spaworld with Laurie and her mom, fell asleep in the big room as orange jumpsuited people socialized around me. I didn't take a single picture all day, I was too relaxed.

02.18.12 (Saturday night) - Sleepover with cousins. Drinks with Laurie, Alison, and Teresa at new bar on Columbia Pike. Yay for new bars!







02.18.12 (Saturday morning) - Lazy day. Dan working. Everyone exhausted. Walked to Columbia Pike library for more books about outer space, F's determined to learn all there is to know.



02.17.12 (Friday afternoon) - Everyone exhausted. I tried the "I'm Not Bored Anymore" jar the girls created for about 20 minutes and then quit. At least I got 20 minutes.






02.17.12 (Friday am) - Spent the morning with Auntie Laurie on the Tidal Basin. Love the waterfalls and stones at the FDR memorial.

02.16.12 (Thursday) - The pepper plant is looking better and better. Love the light in our new house.



02.15.12 (Wednesday) - T's first dentist appointment. F's 100th day of school. The milestones just keep coming.

02.14.12 (Tuesday afternoon) - Dinosaur hat.







02.14.12 (Tuesday morning) - Someone found my old camera on Valentine's Day. He's quite enthusiastic about it.

02.13.12 (Monday) - Co-op at the preschool. The nursery flooded so they put us in the "bride's room" which was a dream to instagram - not sure why jesus is always so white but I must admit I really like the hippy jesus look. Mustaches rock.

02.12.12 (Sunday night) - F's book from school - "A Man Who Had a Dream" (loosely modeled after MLK, loosely) - "Once there was a man/ Who had a daughter/ The man had a dream/ He dreamed he and his daughter rode a horse/ The end"



02.12.12 (Sunday afternoon) - Dan and his dad installed the bookshelves. Now our new house feels like a home. I couldn't be happier.





02.12.12 (Sunday am) - Toilet training is hard.

02.11.12 (Saturday afternoon) - Snow flurries blew throughout the afternoon, so F and I went outside to "play." F couldn't stop smiling.

P had a playdate, came home and drew monsters. I love her monsters.







02.11.12 (Saturday am) - F's swim lessons in the morning. The whole family went with to cheer her on/fight over my iphone.

02.10.12 (Friday pm) - I finally bought a shower curtain and shower accessories for the kids' bathroom, which made them all very happy.







02.10.12 (Friday am) - Cold morning, though it became quite warm later in the day. T and I spent the morning at Gulf Branch learning about frogs. You could hear them croaking in the lake.







02.09.12 (Thursday) - Valentines, paper dolls, and dance parties. It's busy around here.
