11.10.11 (Thursday) - Lots of leaves. Some coming from above and some thrown from off the ground.

11.9.11 (Wednesday) - In the morning, T asked to go for a walk around the block. We spent over an hour jumping in leaf piles and hitting trees with sticks. I'm still not sure why we NEEDED to hit the trees, but T assured me it was necessary. Something about putting out fires. 11.8.11 (Tuesday) - No school. We spent the whole day at Great Country Farms - sliding, running, and picking our own swiss chard. We're cool like that.

11.7.11 (Monday) - No school today. So we had a face-painting playdate. 11.6.11 (Sunday) - Girls' day with grandma - ballerinas at the Philips Collection and Teddy Bear Tea at the Ritz. Plus surprise birthday cupcakes. We could get used to this lifestyle.

11.5.11 (Saturday) - Sort of a random, lazy day. The kids made forts out of the couch cushions and played for hours. I think we needed a day like this. 11.4.11 (Friday) - Toddler's love block towers. And trucks to drive into the towers.

11.3.11 (Thursday) - Picking F up from soccer. The pond always makes the day. And, yes, T wore the same shirt two days in a row. A pajama shirt. So it goes. 11.2.11 (Wednesday) - I made T wear pants to walk F to school. It didn't go over well. At least he had "sheet" to get him through this troubled time.

11.01.11 (Tuesday) - P found a dandelion while we walked F to school. She wished that F didn't go to kindergarten, so that they could play together all afternoon. 10.31.11 (Monday) - T's first Halloween trick or treating. I think he liked it quite a bit. 10.30.11 (Sunday) - Geraniums and Saturday's snow commingled while we shopped on 5th Avenue, I think I'm in love with the 40%-off-everything-in-the-store sale.

10.29.11 (Saturday) - A very wet Saturday in NYC. I wanted to find the snow beautiful, but the cold chilled me to the bone. Great night with a very pregnant Jenny tapas at a tiny little restaurant then Dancing at Lughnasa at the the Irish Repertory Theatre. 10.28.11 (Friday) - Girls' Weekend in NYC with Sarah. Walked the High Line, ate a sustainable dinner at the Green Table in Chelsea Market, then drinks throughout Times Square. Lots of drinks, as is always the case with Sarah and me (everytime we see each other is cause for a celebration!)
