07.13.12 (Friday night) - The Historic Powahatan Resort in Williamsburg, VA. Groupon is pretty awesome sometimes.



07.13.12 (Friday morning) - Science Museum of VA in Richmond with the kids and their cousin. I wish all museums had an Imagination Playground set.





07.11.12 (Wednesday evening) - Cake and a dance party for Julia's birthday. Lots of Katy Perry, as all the kids love her. Sad that my musical taste is already being overruled.





07.11.12 (Wednesday afternoon) - A boy and a hose.





07.10.12 (Tuesday) - The Newseum.

07.07.12 (Saturday) - A very hot day at the Frontier Culture Museum. This place is incredible.







07.06.12 (Friday) - At the lake.



07.05.12 (Thursday) - Stopping at the stream on the way to Snowshoe.

06.04.12 (Wednesday afternoon) - I love these moments.







07.04.12 (Wednesday morning) - Dan doesn't have to work. YAY!! So we spent the morning at the National Zoo - misters, bouncy pizza, and a rainforest = good times.







07.03.12 (Tuesday night) - Two girls, no training wheels, plus T on a balance bike. Life is getting easier.

06.30.12 (Saturday afternoon) - We brought the kids masks from New Orleans. They spent all afternoon playing "going to Mardi Gras." Then the power went out and we spent the next three nights camping out with friends and family.







06.28.12 (Thursday afternoon) - Laura plantation tour. Slavery is bad.







06.28.12 (Thursday morning) - Swamp tour. How many times must people scream "GET THE GATOR!!!" before it gets old?



06.27.12 (Wednesday night) - Hipsters should not travel to New Orleans. They will not be safe there.

06.25.12 (Monday) - Touristing.







06.24.12 (Sunday night) - Dinner at Commander's Palace. Highly overrated. The soup tasted like salsa.

06.23.12 (Saturday afternoon) - A week in New Orleans without kids. The silence is louder than anything I've ever heard.







06.22.12 (Friday afternoon) - An afternoon full of slip and slide and baby pools. I bought the kids a new princess pool, unfortunately the arch kept attacking everyone.







06.22.12 (Friday morning) - F was up all night with a high fever, so she had to miss her last day of school. She spent the morning reading books on the couch, while T flew airplanes behind her.
